EchoPost (“we”, “our”) is a Chrome Extension that helps users write posts in their own voice on X (Twitter).
EchoPost does not collect any personal data.
All API keys and voice profiles are stored locally in chrome.storage.local.
We only use the activeTab permission to read tweets for style analysis on the x.com domain.

The analyzed “Style Fingerprint” / voice profile is stored locally in chrome.storage.local on your device.
The extension uses the activeTab permission only to read publicly available tweet content on x.com for style analysis when you click “Analyze Style”.
When you generate content, your request is sent to the selected LLM provider (e.g., OpenAI / Claude / Gemini) using the API key you provided. EchoPost itself does not receive or store additional personal data beyond what is necessary to perform the requested generation.
